ICG, new shareholder

Intermediate Capital Group (ICG) becomes the majority shareholder of Circet alongside its management.

On October 14, 2021, ICG – one of the world’s leading private equity companies – became the majority shareholder of Circet by joining forces with the company’s founders and managers. This transaction was carried out jointly with Circet’s President & Chief Executive Officer Philippe Lamazou and his management team, and will usher in a new phase of growth for telecom services offered in Europe and around the world, building upon the successes achieved by Advent International during the past three years. The steady increase in data usage, the large-scale rollout of optical fiber networks and the sustained investment in mobile infrastructure are unique opportunities that underlie Circet’s ambitious growth strategy.
